Contemporary Suspense with Romantic elements

Mia Dennett enters a bar one night to meet her on-again, off-again boyfriend. She unwisely leaves with an enigmatic stranger when her boyfriend doesn’t show. Colin Thatcher seems like a safe one-night stand at least at first. By following Colin home Mia ends up making the worst mistake of her life.

Colin then decides to hide Mia in a secluded cabin in rural Minnesota rather than turn her over to his employers.  Detective Gabe Hoffman and Mia’s mother, Eve, won’t let anything stop them from finding Colin and Mia. The emotional entanglements that eventually cause the family’s world to shatter no one could have predicted.

This is a story that keeps the reader guessing as to what will happen next and just what exactly is going on. The character insight that the reader gets with each word read makes for an unforgettable story.  The story takes so many twists and turns that the reader never knows how it will eventually turn out.  Just as the reader thinks they know what is going on another twist comes along to throw everything the reader knows into disarray.  This is an amazing psychological thriller that is very hard to put down once it is started.  It will also have readers wanting to read more from this author.  This is a thriller that is definitely a must read.

I give this one 5 red roses
