Emily Stanton was kidnapped and rescued two years ago. She has finally managed to put it behind her and get on with her life. Her Senator father is trying to get a bill passed that is making the people that originally kidnapped Emily very nervous. Now there are rumors that Emily is being targeted for kidnapping again in an attempt to stop her father.

Kell Kreiger made sure he was with the SEAL team that rescued Emily when she was kidnapped two years ago. Now he is going to make sure that she stays safe this time. He isn’t about to let Emily get taken again. The first kidnapping made Kell realize how much he truly cares for Emily and this attempt is making sure that he doesn’t stay away from her any longer. Kell is determined to make Emily his in every way and he is going to be sure that she is protected no matter what. He is also going to be sure that she can protect herself so that if she is in trouble he will have enough time to get to her.

Now they have to find out who is giving information to the enemy and stop them before any attempt to get Emily. With a race against time and little information to go on it is going to be difficult to keep everyone safe and protected and to find a spy.

Emily has been in love with Kell since she was a child and she sees this chance as a way to get close to him and maybe a chance at a future with him. She just has to learn to fight for what she wants and not let others desires override her own.

This is a great story that has some fantastic action scenes. It is fun to read and see now Emily starts to stand up for what she wants and to stop giving way to what others want from and for her and drive everyone crazy in the process. Emily really keeps Kell and her father on their toes in this one which makes a lot of fun to read. This is one you hate to see end.

I give this one 4-1/2 red roses
