Ella Carson ran away from her family in Philadelphia because her life was in danger there. Now she is being dragged back there by a very handsome man that has also proven to be only man she has ever been truly attracted to, Harrigan Mahoney. Now she is going to have to find a way to outsmart him if she wants to live.
Harrigan Mahoney was hired to bring Ella back but he never realized just how spirited and beautiful she was. Now it is become a battle of wits between them to see who is going to come out the winner in this one. Harrigan never expected to feel this level of attraction to Ella which is making his job much harder than he thought it would be.
Harrigan and Ella now have to decide what they plan on doing with the overwhelming attraction that is raging between them. Harrigan isn’t sure he believes that Ella’s life is truly in danger but he is going to have to find just what the truth is if he has any hope of chance of a future with Ella that he is suddenly very sure he would like to have. In order to have that future Harrigan is going to have to find out exactly what is going on and who is really telling him the truth.
This is another wonderful story by this author that always manages to do a wonderful blend of romance and humor that is sure to keep readers greatly entertained. Reading about the antics between the hero and heroine is great deal of fun and sure to please. This is sure to pick up any reader that needs a pick me up and is great for those who just want to have an enjoyable read.
