This is the start of a new series that starts out fast and doesn’t stop until the very end.  The world building is fascinating and complex.  It makes for a story that the reader will get wrapped up in as they read to find out just what is going on and who is behind what is happening. While both Iris and Connor are both damaged by their pasts it is engrossing to see them work to get past their past so that they can find a happy future together.  It will have readers wanting to read more from this world.
