Cassie has been Harold’s magic assistant for years. Though through the years they have both dated other people and had to deal with others jealously with their relationship they were always just friends. Cassie and Harold are starting a new show and as they are practicing and putting their props together they are starting to look at each other in a new light.

Cassie knows this is her chance to let Harold know just how she feels about him. She is starting to think that there just might be a chance that Harold feels the same way about her. Now if she can just get up her nerve to show him how very much she has always cared about him they just might be able to have a future together other than just as magician and assistant.

This is a cute story that is a nice quick read. There characters are interesting. It is a fun look to get a small peek behind the scenes of a magic act. I enjoyed seeing how Cassie decided to get what she has always wanted.

I give this one 3 and ½ red roses
