New York

Warrick Voclain is a Bloodkin Triad member and a billionaire dragon shifter who is no stranger to power. He is soon thrown for a loop when the granddaughter of his trusted steward seems to use illegal magic in his presence. A beautiful granddaughter that is both all grown up and successful in her own right. It is alarming as she seems to be using the magic to protect him.

Samantha Vine has a secret gift that will get both her and her grandfather killed if she doesn’t stay under the radar. What she didn’t plan on was a quick visit home to turn into a weeks’ long visit and being in Warrick’s company but anyone that strikes at Warrick would also hurt her granddad.

Warrick’s position on the Triad requires that he adhere to the rule of law that says the use of such magic is punishable by death. The attraction is stirring his blood and straining his control with the strength of it.

In the shadows though are adversaries waiting. The best and easiest way to strike down a powerful dragon is to go for the heart. Which in Warrick’s case is Samantha. He will reshape the world into a safe one for her with fire and blood. Those that don’t bend to his will are going to burn.

This is proving to be a great series. While each book can be read as a standalone they will prove to be much better if they are read in order. This book will also have readers eagerly awaiting the next book in the series. This series proves just how hot and sexy dragon shifters truly are. This is a series the readers will find addictive and want much more from this world of dragons and those they love.

Contemporary Young Adult, Romantic Elements

New York City

Invisibility is something Stephen is used to since he was born that way. Cursed and invisible.

Elizabeth wishes she was invisible so that no one can hurt her. Elizabeth is thrilled with her mother’s decision to move the family to New York City since that way she can easily blend in.

Stephen is soon amazed when he meets Elizabeth since she can actually see him. What amazes Elizabeth is that she wants Stephen to actually see all of her. Soon an invisible world of grudges and misfortunes, spells and curses gets in their way as they get closer. As they are thrust into this world Elizabeth and Stephen have to decide just how deep into they are going to go. That answer could mean the difference between love and death.

This is a book that proves to be engrossing, fun and poignant as the reader reads each page. The characters are well written and really move the story along. It also provides a mystery of just how things happened to Stephen and what is going to happen next. It also proves to be a hard book to put down once the reader starts it.  They will want to see how things turn out for Elizabeth and Stephen and hoping for the very best outcome.
